Safely operates and maintains boilers, HVAC, compressors, pumps and other auxiliary equipment necessary for hospital function. Can perform in a specialty area, such as electrical, HVAC, construction, etc. Safely performs general, routine maintenance and servicing operations throughout the hospital plant as directed. Performs minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Reports to the Facility Services Coordinator and Director of Facility Services.

Performs those duties related to the gathering and calculation of hemodynamic data during coronary angiograms and other related invasive procedures. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of all monitoring equipment within the department including hemodynamic monitor, oximeter, cardiac output, and all transducers during procedures. Reviews patient information and exam requisition for physician notes and/or special instructions. Consults with Cardiologist, Interventional Radiologist, and other physicians to ensure safe and appropriate procedures.

The Cardiovascular Tech of the Angiosuite is proficient in assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, vascular procedures, and interventional radiology procedures.

• Graduate of a recognized accredited cardiovascular school preferred.
• Minimum of 2 yearsâ�� experience in a Cath Lab.
• Current CVT experience required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification required.
