SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians. Includes vascular technologists.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Must be registered or registry eligible by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (SDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and registry eligible in Sonography. 

Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
