Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Radiographer for the Operating Room at Overlook Medical Center.

The shift is to be determined working 10 hours shift 4x week with call and weekends as required.

*Call is for 1 week every 5 weeks and 1 weekend every 5 weeks.

Essential Functions

• A Health care professional who operates diagnostic mobile technological equipment to examine patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Able to collaborate with team members and physicians to perform appropriate techniques.
• Ensures compliance with established safety regulations and procedures when operating radiation equipment to prevent ill-exposure to ionizing radiation.
• Some of the qualities needed to be effective on the job include attention to details, IT skills, and teamwork ability.
• Recording and storing of patients' examination results, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Act and Patient Confidentiality codes.
• Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently.
• Must promote the Atlantic Health System PRIDE Values.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology Program required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

License/Certifications:

• NJ State License required
• ARRT Certification and current active registration required
• Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR

Relevant Experience:

• 1-3 years of field experience preferred
