Echo Tech Supervisor Full Time Days Position Summary

The Cardiopulmonary Supervisor assists the Director and Assistant Director of Cardiopulmonary in the management of the day-to-day operations of the department. Under the direction and delegation of the director and assistant director, assists with planning, implementing and evaluating current practices to promote high quality, cost effective care. Acts as liaison for the staff and performs other duties as assigned. Encourages and monitors compliance with department and hospital policies and procedures. Participates in hospital committees and other responsibilities as assigned. Performs essential duties of primary clinical position. The Cardiopulmonary Supervisor is responsible for the efficient, effective supervision of the department, this includes but not limited to:

? Provision of Patient Care

? Scheduling

? Performance Improvement

? Quality Assurance

? Business development for Out Patient Care

? Compliance with regulatory standards

ECHO TECH SUPERVISOR FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Education & Licensure: High School Graduate Required; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist, or RN.

Minimum Experience/Certification: Minimum 2 years hands-on Supervisory experience required; at least 5 years working experience in the field of Cardiac/Vascular Testing. Pediatric and Infant experience is required. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required; ACLS Certification Preferred.
