The role you’ll contribute:

Assesses, determines, and coordinates placement of all admissions (elective and emergent) and transfers in accordance with clinical standards and guidelines. Ensures patients are placed in clinically appropriate level of care via established algorithms and protocols.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Build and maintain relationships with key referring physicians through delivery of quality service to physicians referred patients.
• Provides leadership over the team responsible for ensuring accurate and complete Scheduling, Verification of Benefits, Pre-authorization, and Pre-Certification of imaging exams.
• Serves as a back-up to the Intake team as a seasoned scheduler providing scheduling service during peak volume times.
• Reviews in detail and prepares patient visit paperwork in advance on a routine basis to ensure all requirements are completed to ensure a timely and accurate exam is performed.
• Drives Imaging patients efficiently through the Intake process and strives to fill customer of physician requests with minimal calls.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Graduate of a school of Nursing.
• Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
