This position is an Epilepsy Coordinator working in the Clinical Neuroscience Center (CNC) Neurology Clinic. The epilepsy coordinator will work closely in multidisciplinary team of NAEC level 4 epilepsy center. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for the overall care coordination of the multidisciplinary teams, including physicians of epileptologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-radiologists, neuropsychologists, neuropsychiatrists, social worker, advanced practitioners, EEG lab, nurses in EMU and clinic, and other support departments. The coordinator will educate the patients and families about their diagnosis, self-management of seizures, and medical and surgical treatment options. The coordinator will arrange weekly epilepsy surgery conference, work closely with the surgery scheduling team and EEG lab to arrange procedures in the operating room, and keep track of epilepsy surgery work up lists, neuromodulation therapy, and outcomes.

Preferred experience in epilepsy or neurology such as EMU, NSI, Neuroscience ward or clinic. The successful candidate has a good communication skill, ability to work in multidisciplinary team, multi-task and organizational skill, and ability to manage the HIPPA compliant secure EMU/Epilepsy Surgery database or spread sheet.
