The Nurse Practitioner performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols. The Nurse Practitioner initiates and changes orders for tests and patient care based on condition of patient and approval of Physician. The Nurse Practitioner develops and maintains active practice in facilities. The Nurse Practitioner compiles medical history information and other relevant data from patient and family while updating medical record. The Nurse Practitioner evaluates patient condition and medical needs while developing plan of care to be approved by attending Physician. The Nurse Practitioner performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols.
