The role you’ll contribute:

The Echo Tech performs Echocardiograms, Stress Echocardiograms and Transesophageal Echocardiograms for cardiac patients in the procedural areas of cardio/Diagnostics, and on the patient care units, when appropriate. Tests are also performed in the Cath Lab, and OR when needed. 

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Prepares patients for exams, explaining procedure, positioning and observing patient and reporting any unusual occurrences.
• Echocardiograms, transesophageal echo, stress echo
• Shares on-call responsibilities
• Demonstrates skill and knowledge in the use of transducers and imaging equipment.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate from an AMA approved program in echo sonography or cardiovascular technology.
• Registry/Certification from ARDMS or CCI
• BLS from American Heart Association
