JOB SUMMARY:

An opportunity exists for a CT Technologist Lead at Penn State Health – St. Joseph Regional Network in Reading, Pennsylvania. They will be responsible for performing a variety of standardized imaging procedures, for setting up and adjusting related equipment and devices, and for maintaining related records. This is a full-time position working varied shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs standardized imaging procedures ensuring accurate imaging as per defined protocols or under the direction of the radiologist/physician

Ensures proper operation of the equipment safely while maintaining regulatory standards during all procedures

Performs patient imaging by interacting with the patient using professionalism, courtesy, and safety guidelines

Maintains the area, supplies, and equipment in a neat, orderly, and prepared manner; performs room and equipment disinfection procedures

Responsible for daily equipment calibration; reports equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments and/or repair of equipment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology

One to two years of CT experience

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or registry eligible

Basic Life Support certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CT registration (ARRT)
