Details Posted: April 4, 2021 Location: Richmond, Virginia Show Map Salary: Open This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more Duties Include, but not limited to: Carry outpatient, residential or consultant clinical workload along with assigned administrative and professional responsibilities. Conducts history, physical exams and mental status exams on assigned patients. Develops and presents treatment plans to the multidisciplinary treatment team. Orders all necessary laboratory and radiological assessments. Psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy as indicated in the treatment plan. Maintains effective and up-to-date documentation of patient encounters. Performs psychiatry on-call duties as assigned. Provided medications for substance use disorders to include but not limited to methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases. Paid Time Off: Annual leave at the rate of eight (8) hours per biweekly pay period; Sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per biweekly pay period; 10 paid Federal holidays per year. Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years' vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA. Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement). Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory. CME: Possible $1,000 per year stipend + possible 1 week paid authorized absence to attend. Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.
