This is a benefit eligbible position (0.6FTE). Typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, from 3:00PM to 11:30PM and will include a weekend rotation of once a month with typical schedule of 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Will include a holiday rotation as well.

Fairview Health Services is looking for a CT Tech at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN.

In this role, the technologist will provide services to patients and physicians though the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the age of the patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards of practice and patient care, supplies and equipment and for coordinating team work with all members of the health care team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform Computed Tomography procedures in an efficient, accurate manner using prescribed protocols. Demonstrates a good knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety protocols.
• Displays collaborative initiative with team members across varying medical specialties. Ability to work independently, prioritizes patient needs, and effectively uses resources

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT
• BLS

Preferred:

• ARRT CT certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire
• 1-2 years CT experience
• Siemens scanner experience helpful
• IV experience
• Experience with CR, PACS, RIS
