The Department conducts exciting clinical research in imaging particularly in the fields of interventional radiology and neuro-interventional radiology. In addition, the Department supports the imaging component of clinical research for all other medical fields at the University. We currently have 3 job openings in our research support team: 1 Clinical Research Coordinator (salary DOQ: $50-55K) Identify and follow clinical trial subjects, accurately completing visit procedures and data collection according to the protocol while maintaining the health and safety of research subjects. Understand and interpret clinical research protocols, assess study needs, develop plans for successful implementation, conduct and document visits, evaluate progress regularly, and provide input to integrate improvements. Obtain research consent/HIPAA and screen patients for eligibility based on medically complex inclusion and exclusion criteria, seeking investigator input as appropriate. Educate the patient as well as the legally authorized representative or family when applicable throughout the research participation process. Document research findings and data according to protocol requirements and timeline. Key qualifications: 2-5 years experience as clinical research coordinator Link to UMN posting: https://hr.myu.umn.edu/jobs/ext/337817 2 Research Nurse Coordinator (salary DOQ: $80-90K) In addition to Clinical Research Coordinator Duties listed above, Provide protocol-specific specialized nursing services for research studies when needed, which may include vital signs, IV placement, blood draws, patient assessment, administering investigational agents, and/or obtaining biological specimens. Provide study-specific leadership and day-to-day supervision to meet key benchmarks in the areas of study setup, participant recruitment and retention rates, development and implementation of data management systems, and reporting responsibilities Key qualifications: BS or Associates degree in Nursing with 3-5 years of research experience or a combination of related education and recent clinical nursing experience (direct patient care) to equal 6 years, current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Minnesota in good standing. Link to UMN posting: https://hr.myu.umn.edu/jobs/ext/337864 3 Research Radiologic Technologist (salary DOQ: $70-75K) Collaborate with primary investigators on the design and implementation of imaging portion of research studies Work with study team to confirm protocol needed and set up protocol in measurement software Pull images from PACS to software and prep for radiologist read; push images to appropriate mechanisms for clinicians to view the results.
