Memorial Healthcare System is growing and seeking several nurse midwives with a certification in midwifery from the American Midwifery Certification Board to join our team. Midwives will provide care to Ob/Gyn patients while managing inpatient admission, labor management, delivery, and discharge of essentially normal and high risk patients in collaboration with a consulting Ob/Gyn. Responsibilities include performing procedures such as IUD inserts and removals with appropriate training, as well as labor floor, postpartum maternity, ED, Triage, and hospital consults with 6-7 24-hour shifts per month and clinical duties with 3-4 8-hour shifts per month. Volume averages 90-100 deliveries per month shared with physicians. Successful candidates are to be energetic and self-motivated with sharp interpersonal and professional skills. Candidates with 5 years of high risk experience and credentials preferred.

These are full-time employed positions with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The positions offer competitive benefits and a compensation package that are commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
