POSITION PURPOSE:
Routinely receives patients and/or visitors, schedules appointments, answers telephone and follows through with appropriate individuals. Performs clerical & secretarial support, as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma required. Able to read, write and speak English.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Able to type 40 words per minute. Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, general office equipment & medical terminology preferred. A minimum of one year in a medical office environment with direct patient and physician interaction.
