The preferred candidate must have an MD, DO or equivalent degree, board certification by the American Board of Radiology and be fellowship trained. A CAQ in neuroradiology is not required but is preferred. Applicants must qualify for medical licensure in the State of Tennessee and must be eligible for a DEA license. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a world-class center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders. The hospital's mission is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Within the Department of Diagnostic Imaging we offer – state of the art imaging equipment including – 3T and 1.5T MRI machines PET imaging supported by an on-site cyclotron and dual-energy CT imaging a rapidly growing advanced imaging post-processing lab staffed with imaging scientists and dedicated post processing specialists dedicated medical and MRI physicists a departmental team of experienced clinical research assistants a group of nationally and internationally renowned academic radiologists Additionally, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital offers a plethora of outstanding resources including – a team of biostatisticians dedicated to imaging research a grant management support office a scientific editing service preclinical imaging research opportunities including a small animal PET-CT and ultra-high-field MRI Clinical work is carried out in an exceptionally well-organized, efficient, collaborative and collegial environment on a single campus. Teleradiology remote services are provided for after hours and weekends, with St. Jude radiologists providing back-up call only on an as needed and rotating basis (approximately 1 week every 2 months).
