Summary

Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Is responsible for the proper transportation and safety of the patient. Is under the general guidance of the Radiology floor supervisor/ Lead Technologist. Is expected to treat all patients with dignity and respect. May be given some file clerk duties if deemed necessary by the supervisor/ lead technologist/ May be exposed to radiation and a variety of diseases.

Education

Required: High School Graduate or equivalent

Experience

Preferred: Must be able to lift and transfer patients independently. Must be able to speak and read English. Must be able to walk throughout the hospital

Certifications

Required: BLS-American Heart Association
