SuSummary:

• Responsible for directing and coordinating off shift departmental function and delivery of safe, family-centered care in collaboration with unit managers, educators and director.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership team in the strategic planning. Implementation, evaluation and revision of systems to support and enhance the competence, autonomy and accountability of the nursing staff.
• Conduct off shift patient care rounds.
• Assist with ongoing Joint Commission readiness.
• Review documentation and address non-compliant standards with staff.
• Assist with coordination of patient satisfaction initiatives throughout unit.
• Coordinate daily operations to assure appropriate staffing, optimal patient flow, bed management between units and productivity.
• Monitor off-shift staffing to improve labor management across all three CWI departments.
• Assist with unit payroll and staff scheduling.
• Assist with off shift staff education to support evidence-based practice.
