Summary

Under the supervision of the Imaging Informatics Manager the position supports the operations for all of the Radiology and Cardiology Information Systems (RIS, PACS, VR, Interfaces, etc.) functions to meet the needs of the physicians and staff.
Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a key resource for Radiology and Cardiology personnel.
  • Provides RIS, PACS, and other department network support for all personnel as it relates to individual sections.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers, verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrates PACS/RIS/Voice Recognition systems knowledge and/or experience.
  • Experience in general clerical preferred with some exposure to medical terminology.


Qualifications:

Education

Required: High school graduate or equivalent

Experience

Preferred: HIS, RIS, EMR systems experience. Radiology background
