Details Posted: January 8, 2021 Location: Denver, Colorado Show Map Type: Temp to Full Time - Experienced Discipline: Allied Health The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Advanced Reproductive Medicine, Denver at the University of Colorado has an opening for an instructor approximately 25-hour per week or up to 40-hours per week (0.625FTE-1.0FTE). This position serves as the lead sonographer for our freestanding Advanced Reproductive Medicine patient office located in Denver, with reporting to directly to the ARM administrator and indirectly to the Medical Director of the Denver patient office. The duties of this position include: Performing independent diagnostic transvaginal ultrasound examinations on patients who will be subsequently evaluated and treated by an attending physician Preparing preliminary reports for physician review, and verifying data obtained from the sonogram. Train staff in the retrieval of records in order to facilitate requests from referring physicians. Work cooperatively with the Director, nurses, and the administrative staff of the Center to ensure high patient and referring physician satisfaction. Other duties as assigned. This position will include administrative tasks, including managing data and reports, ensuring the data is adequately stored and trouble-shooting equipment problems. Miniumum Qualifications This position requires graduation from an accredited sonography program. (Bachelor’s degree preferred) Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years of OB-GYN progressively responsible sonography experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
