Baylor Scott & White Health laboratory is hiring, Senior Transplant Histocompatibility Specialist.

Our Histocompatibility Specialist performs an advanced variety of clinical Laboratory tests to determine donor/recipient compatibility, analyzes and records and prepares test results accurately, notifies appropriate medical staff when necessary, and communicates with Transplant Programs and Donor Banks to remain current on donor and patient status. The Histocompatibility Specialist performs and remains knowledgeable of current trends in Histocompatibility testing including HLA typing, crossmatching, and lymphocyte antibody screens and transplant protocol. In addition, the Histocompatibility Specialist teaches new employees, pathology residents, and medical technology students as needed.

The ideal Histocompatibility Specialist Transplant applicant will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, detailed oriented and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
