Details Posted: November 19, 2019 Location: Sacramento, California Show Map Type: Full Time - Experienced Discipline: Academic / Research The University of California, Davis Department of Radiology is seeking applicants for a full-time Interventional Neuroradiologist at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank (commensurate with credentials) in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) or Clinical Radiology series. Responsibilities include direct inpatient and outpatient clinical care in all aspects of interventional neuroradiology; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; and university/ public service. Teaching is required and will include supervision of medical students, residents and fellows in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Additionally, there is potential for a joint appointment with the VA Northern California Health Care System. Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and be certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology; possess or be eligible for Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology and be eligible for licensure in the State of California. Qualified candidates are required to have experience in providing patient care in all aspects of clinical service for interventional neuroradiology, including vascular and non-vascular procedures, in both inpatient and outpatient settings; experience with or ability to teach medical students, residents, and fellows; experience with or interest in clinical research; ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated administrative leadership experience to develop multi-disciplinary collaborations and affiliations with other practices and or community partners; willingness to work in other non-interventional radiology services; experience in collaborative and multi-disciplinary research; and experience in clinical trials.
